In my opinion, this is a serious matter of concern for the school district in terms of funding, who decides where schools go and planning.

We want to assure the (Office of the Inspector General) and the FCC that any improper activities that occurred in connection with the E-rate Program have been identified and corrected and that safeguards now are in place to prevent any reoccurrence in the future.

There is no reason to punish the future children of Brevard Public Schools for the past actions of a few adults who are no longer in the system.

There is a great difference between worry and concern. A worried person sees a problem, and a concerned person solves a problem.

Gary may have had nothing to do with this, I don't know, ... But my concern and my criticism is leveled at my colleague and friend because of the way he's conducted himself, for handling himself subsequent to this young lady's disappearance. He could have been more forthcoming, could have been more truthful and could have been more candid.

It's all being done under a public safety concern.
