In areas where commuting is an issue, housing located in the inner areas will appreciate at a higher rate.

Our survey doesn't explain why. It gets down to being as simple as women have a better understanding of housing as a long-term investment. Single guys are more interested in consumption. They don't get serious about real estate until they meet the right woman.

That's our biggest challenge out here because, as you know, they are taking down the affordable housing complexes and they certainly aren't building any new ones.

Many of the residents of adult housing sold their houses that they've lived in for so many years because they find it exhausting and expensive to maintain a large and empty household.

A city has to be responsible to its residents to provide affordable housing.
