In a more competitive meet, Conn. won't be nearly as close to us. We had three in front of their top runner. In a bigger meet that gap is going to be much wider.

All those 13 were under 20 minutes for 5k. We're deep; it's nice to see. And there are only two seniors and a couple juniors. It's looking good, but it is really early to tell.

We had a lot of people run major [personal records].

We have worked a lot harder on our plays this year. Our plays have helped us a lot. But to run the plays everyone on the team has to contribute. And when everyone contributes that brings you a lot closer together.

It was slightly disappointing because the injury affected us. We also tried working on some different aspects of our game in the doubles matches, and I think that also affected our performance.

She really doesn't get enough credit. She's the one who's setting us up with assists and getting the balls to us. She's the one hitting three-pointers.
