Imports remain a concern with the currency holding at $US0.75 cents and cost pressures persist, in particular for power and transport.

Australia remains hampered by currency and Europe does not look likely to see price strength given producer competition and overcapacity issues.

Even with the Canadian dollar appreciating some 6 U.S. cents through the year, both exports and imports in 2005 surged to record high levels.

I don't lose any sleep whether they miss by 2 or 6 or 8 cents. The concern is how this ends, do they come back as one team, or do they come back one at a time with an attitude. That could impact [on whether] you recover in the quarter.
