I'm very satisfied with this win because we slowed down on turnovers and got a lot of errors and steals in the first half.

We watched a couple of (Highlands Ranch's) games and confidence was what they built on. In practice all week, coach (Rudy Carey) told us we had to come out and make a statement.

We're going to have an easy practice (today), so basically, after the second quarter, that was our practice.

Blame me for giving up the home run. Errors are going to happen. You can't dwell on it. Leave the guy alone. Point the finger at me. Call me the dumb [expletive].

We were the underdogs. Nobody picked us to win that game. We played our hearts out. That's a memory that will stick with me the rest of my life.

Coach has shown he has a lot more confidence in me. I've just got to prove I have a lot more confidence in myself. I don't know about starting, but I'll probably get a few more minutes.
