It was a matter of trying to find what's lacking here and filling the void. We wanted to develop outside events that students and faculty and the public could attend, aside from classes. We try to present a whole bunch of things, a variety that will appeal to someone.

For a time period during my life, I didn't know whose life I was trying to live ? my mother's or mine. There is a lot to be learned by everyone, and so I began researching.

Can they do both? That's a huge balance, I think, with kids- trying to find the right- it's everything, you know, it's social life, it's academics, it's sports.
