I'm sorry, I will not change what I am or pretend to be something else just so that you will like me. Why? Because I don't want to wake up one day and realize that everyone likes me...except me!

Admire other people's beauty and talent without questioning your own. Let people live their truth without it threatening yours. Be truly happy when others are blessed. Learn from everyone, but compare yourself to no-one. Stop striving to be better than others and just work toward being better than who you were yesterday. Don't waste time pointing out other people's flaws or you won't have enough time to focus on all of yours.

An opinion isn't right or wrong. It's your interpretation of a subject or a situation. You can't be f......g wrong!
"So, if I look at the sky and have the opinion that the clouds are pink, I'm right?"
"Yes! Because it's an opinion, not a fact, and maybe to you, the clouds are pink because you're nuts. An opinion doesn't need to be true for anyone else in the world but you. Stop trying to f.....g please everyone and just say what you think.

It's a funny thing, how it works...
The moment we stop trying so hard to be someone, we become ourselves--only what was there all along, waiting and peeking out from behind all the masks we wore.
And when this happens, we discover that Who We Really Are is much greater than anything we might have pretended or even hoped to be.
