I'm so proud to think that 25 years after Terry started this marathon, people are showing up and still believing in what he started,

We're so proud of Canadians and people worldwide who are keeping Terry's dream alive,

I'm out here to share my son's story, to thank people for their contributions in helping to keep his dream alive,

Some people who weren't able to run for more than a couple minutes at once have finished a marathon and they did that within a year starting out in this group.

I think people are coming to the realization that this is going to be a marathon that's going to be running for a period of time and [Merck is] unlikely to pay any money out over the next few years.

The reproduction of the very shoe Terry wore during his Marathon of Hope will greatly enhance our fundraising efforts while reminding Canadians of his noble dream to end the suffering that cancer causes.
