I'm really demanding. No girl really wants just a guy. You want a prince, you want Jesus. So when he comes around and his name is Steve, what are you supposed to do?

[He said he wants to] cringe ... when they're not doing a damn thing, and everybody's buying into it.

Everyone wants Steve to do well because he really is the nicest guy you would ever come across. When we were working on the movie he said to me — and he wasn't kidding — 'I'm just trying to be nice to the casting director, so if this bombs she'll at least cast me in another movie.' This was the casting director he hired.

I just really wanted to help out. I think the most important thing to them is their futures. They are here, and they have gotten out of that disaster, but it is like, now what? Because they can't live like that forever.

It is very humbling, but I loved every second of it. It was really gratifying and I had a great time.
