Investors you should buy a mix of both old and new economy stocks. I don't think you should stick all of your eggs in any one style basket these days. I would also spread my risk between small stocks and large stocks.

I'd give Michigan stocks a C-. U.S. stocks didn't do much better.

What you're seeing is the same old, same old: too much money chasing too few stocks.

The economically sensitive stocks are doing well. Historically, that's a sign that the economy is improving.
