I'm proud that my boys didn't panic after getting down early. Our defense got better and better as we struggled to loosen up and our shots started falling.

We were a team without a lot of respect all year. I guarantee there wasn't many picking us third (in the state tournament).

We are going to continue to work and focus on defense. We aren't being given much respect as a team to go out and make a run at this, so we are anxious to prove that we are a force to be reckoned with.

We were coming off our moratorium, and we had a few shots that just didn't fall for us. We didn't play particularly well early in the game, but we were able to come back and play stronger in the third and fourth quarter.

Fortunately this game was against Dixie. It wouldn't have meant as much otherwise.
