I'm proud of the girls for pulling this one out.

We have a younger group of girls in that event. Jenna is the only senior and we have two juniors and a sophomore. Each is strong with specialty strokes. This is one of the stronger relay teams than we've had in the past.

And when we were told we would have to wear dresses to play in, half of the girls wanted to leave.

Both doubles teams went three sets, three hours. We certainly gave it our best shot. It wasn't for lack of trying.

I was especially pleased with Morris. She played really well, moved her opponent around the court and was patient in the rallies.

You can really see the relationship between the two sports (volleyball and tennis) in the way Amy hits the ball. She's pretty powerful.
