I'm not sure we've had that kind of community forum.

I think the legislature is going to start to define blight a lot tighter. We may not have that eminent domain ability much longer. I don't know what happens to the Heart of Boynton then.

I'm not particularly fond of eminent domain. I don't know why we have to buy up everything there before we put out a request for proposals.

I feel that Mt. Pleasant works together and that the people work together to make the community strong. I want to do my part to keep that going.

They represent successful African-American businesses that have served our community for 20 or more years and which are still contributing to our area's growth.

We really need to reconnect with our roots. They (hometown associations) are the eyes and ears of the community. This is a bona fide movement.
