I'm just trying to hit it, that's it. I was told a long time ago when I first came up, we're producers, not directors. All you can do is hit it, you can't control where it goes and if it happens to go somewhere, fine.

This team is not one that's going to roll over and go away. We're going to scratch, we're going to claw, we're going to put good at-bats together, try to get a couple of runs here and there, bite into the deficit a little bit and punch ahead. Tonight it worked out.

We've found ways to win all year long. If it comes down to playing a little small-ball well, we can do that, too.

Right now, we're just trying to get focused. We just want to play and not speak to the media.

I do feel for him. It's an unfortunate time for him to go down, but if he has to, better to do it now and get back and concentrate for the regular season.
