I'm just telling you that in the pas he's had these thing and he's been able to overcome them in 48 hours, which we're hoping would be the case here.

It affects the team but we'll be able to overcome it. We've had to overcome it before and we'll be able to do it again.

Their offensive line is a very good, a very hard-working group [that works well] together. Their zone scheme is designed, at somewhere along line, to cut you off to create a lane for the runner to pour up into. They do a good job with that.

He took most of the repetitions, all but about six snaps, and was quick and sharp with his throws and his movements. We'll advance along accordingly from here. I think [Wednesday] morning may be a little interesting. But he's come in every day after throwing 70 or 75 balls without any problems whatsoever.

He's an incredible athlete and a guy whose conditioning really has been a measuring stick for everybody in this league. It is so easy for us to point to Jerry Rice when we are trying to make a strong message with a player who we may not feel is as serious about his game as he should be.
