I'm glad I gave up baton twirling for basketball.

There's really nothing around here for anybody to do except hang out at basketball courts and hang out on the street.

Our team is learning the concept of basketball. They are learning how to be confident with the ball and how to work together as a team.

This game was a total team effort. Whether or not I was getting my 30 points, as long as we got the three-peat.

I wasn't talked about in eighth or ninth grade as being one of the better players. Knowing where I came from - not being one of the best players - to being there with the best players in the country, yeah, I'm real proud of myself.

I did it from kindergarten through eighth grade. I twirled and I danced.
