College education is an investment. Much like the stock market, no one’s forcing you to participate, but you feel the need to because it’s been a worthwhile investment for so many other people you know. And if you go down the post-secondary road, make sure you plan your trip.

For the sole true end of education is simply this: to teach men how to learn for themselves; and whatever instruction fails to do this is effort spent in vain.

Today's results are further evidence of rising standards in our education system and this is a clear reflection of the hard work of our young people and their teachers. I congratulate them on their achievements - they should take pride in these results.

I'm as proud of my inconsistencies as I am my consistencies.

We love to be fucked. Plain and simple. By our government, by our jobs, by our so-called friends who take us for granted. We want to be told want to think because critical analysis is too hard--let someone else do it. We want to be told what to do because this way we can avoid responsibility, that if we fuck up, we can just blame the person who instructed us. What a load of bullshit.
