If you stacked regulations up, they would be about 5 feet tall, and there are so many regulations for small-business owners that half the time when they break regulations, they don't know they are doing it.

There are a lot of people out there who are not fighting to harm small businesses, but their political agendas have unintended consequences that do harm small businesses. You have to be active with your state legislator ... If more small businesses banded together they can make a difference. They could make a huge difference.

Each mandate doesn't cost very much necessarily ... but when you add up 49 mandates, the aggregate cost is pretty high.

It gets tough when you try to tailor-make a plan for every single person, but at the same time we are paying for things we never use. Right now, it is kind of a one-size-fits-all approach, and from a consumer standpoint, someone who purchases health insurance, that doesn't go a long way in curtailing health-care costs.

We're not intimidated coming in. We're not playing against Oklahoma and their tradition. We're playing against the Oklahoma team in 2005, and we're ready to get the job done.

I just know he's gone for sure. I think it's the right move. I think he's been blessed to be set up with this opportunity to take care of his family.
