If you see a thunderstorm in early May in Nebraska, say, your immediate reaction is the possibility of a tornado. Elsewhere, the seasonal cycle falls apart quickly. It never goes to zero threat, but never gets all that high either.

There are individuals and families desperate for new discoveries and the possibility of treatments and cures. This (regeneration) is done in other species, and if it can be done in humans, it would be a remarkable breakthrough. I think it would be great for New Jersey to be a leader in this.

The chances of a tornado coming near you are very rare. The event that happened here in Oklahoma City is something that even in the metropolitan area hasn't happened for probably 50 years.

This young man's very lucky to be alive. Traveling any distance in a tornado and surviving is a big deal.

Pat had a knack for taking on the most difficult kind of assignments and making it look easy. She had a wonderful skill and wisdom for calming everyone down and making them play well together.

We have tornadoes [nationwide] 180 days a year, every other day, and we have significant tornadoes probably about 60 days a year. It requires a fairly delicate balance: Even if you have a thunderstorm, you don't necessarily have a tornado.
