If you look at this part of the community, it tends to be an area where people want to stay. After awhile, people start to realize that maybe we don't need to grow out, beyond and beyond. Maybe we just need to grow smarter and grow better.

It was very idyllic. It was so nice to be a part of a community where the people shared the same values.

Your biggest challenge is to be on the same level, or ranking, across the board with all those stores in the same year.

(Colorado ski areas) have really pampered the people on the mountain. On the slopes, we have held their hand and been great at taking care of them.

In this economy, people need to constantly re-educate. It's not unusual for a community college to serve as a graduate school for the English major who suddenly find himself in business and had better brush up on accounting quick ... I hope they encourage people to go to (college).

Sixty percent of the funds are from grassroots fundraising like the Bike-a-thon. We have 14,000 people in our database who have donated something, and we call and ask them to give again. They usually do.
