If you ask any great player or great quarterback, there's a certain inner confidence that you're as good as anybody. But you can't say who is the absolute best. To be considered is special in itself.

I though he was a good player, ... His JC (junior college) coach was going 'Hey I got a quarterback' and I said 'yeah I know, but we don't need a JC guy.' It's good he landed on his feet.

I don't need to be motivated by anybody. Never have.

You have to feel you're the best at what you do. You don't have to come out and say it. But you have to know it within yourself.

He's shown such maturity as a young player. I think he understands what he has to do. It's not like I was going to give him any advice that he didn't already know. It's pretty amazing what he's been able to do the last couple of years. He has played like a veteran. He made such good decisions in the playoffs.
