If we become an accomplice to criminal activities by the American government, then we are liable too.

The bottom line is, we're in a place that actually has a rule of law. The British government is mandated to take action.

The American government will be whatever we all make of it.

As far as their reasons for hunger striking, it seems to be a myriad of different reasons that they all have, the largest one seems to be like they want to protest their continued (detention).

People are desperate. They have been there three years. They were promised that the Geneva Conventions would be respected and various changes would happen and, unfortunately, the (U.S.) government reneged on that.

This is the court of public opinion -- the idea is to educate the folks in the House of Commons on what is happening.
