If this bill is enacted, I would have no hesitation to recommend a challenge.

Putting it in the state constitution doesn't save it.

If that was true, we wouldn't see any death sentences coming out of Texas — unanimous jury required. We wouldn't see any death sentences coming out of California, out of Virginia, out of Georgia, where unanimous juries are required.

The judges in this state are responsible people. They do a good job. Leave them alone.

We're going to challenge for the state championship this year. That's our goal.
