If there are questions after these individual meetings, the division will ask for supporting documents.

We hope that the ideas that come out of these meetings in each congressional district will, one, raise awareness of the problem and, number two, will give us some feedback which we can then go to the Arkansas Bar Association and go to the legislature in 2007, go to the Supreme Court and show what the needs are and how the public perceives the needs and try to get some additional funding. Our funding has continuously fallen since 2002.

Somebody who came down here four years ago and never goes to School Board meetings or workshops, I don't think that carries a lot of weight.

No one city can master it all. San Carlos is interested in virtual meetings. We don't have the time to do it, so they did it. And we do things they benefit from. The key factor is we're all going in the same direction, just in different pathways.

I think a lot of it's psychological. So we have had meetings and we talk about maintaining a positive attitude, supporting each other and representing Hawaii.
