If the referendum passes, we'll have new acquisitions, new books on the shelves, and our Sunday hours will remain and be permanent.

People will look at the turnout and say ?What message is that sending?? Do we have a positive support base in this community or does it look as though people are positive about the library but don't want to increase their taxes.

The fourth graders raised more than $3,500 that was earmarked to purchase books for the Bay-Waveland School District. We want to raise more money to purchase the remaining books that are needed.
