If the program doesn't make any sense and the expectation to the workers and the employers are so out of sync with reality, that's a failed program.

The hardening of the borders makes people far less likely to make that trek more than once. They're integrated into families. They have children born here and sometimes legal spouses. (The House bill) would have a profound effect on American families.

I don't know if there's going to be 'the big one,' but if anything starts to happen . . . we want to be in front of it and get the information out there. If you get the information a half a day late, it doesn't allow you to get ready or prepare.

I don't know what's extreme about calling this president a terrorist. He's been talking about 9/11 and terrorists over and over just to scare the hell out of normal people like you and I. He has people ... rushing out to the hardware store to buy plastic and duct tape to protect themselves against a chemical attack. He has ordered the killing of over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians with bombs, tanks, guns and chemical weapons.

There's no question that the failure of the federal government to create an immigration system that works is creating enormous anxiety in the states.

If it is not a problem for employers to pay workers a decent wage, then there should be no problem in using the program.
