If our city officials would pull together, it would create excitement. Excitement is magnetic. People need to feel that they are part of a program to rebuild our community.

One of the biggest issues for me is focusing on industry and making it attractive so that people will come here.

It seems like every week we hear of new excitement or response from celebrities. Last week, James Earl Jones agreeing to attend, this week a signed beanie baby from Paul McCartney!

I get that same excitement as a fast break with Magic,

They added a park up there. People were able to fix up their homes ... There was a lot of excitement about it when it was going on, to put in new street lights. It was just a wonderful program. We need to fund that again and go to the next neighborhood.
