If others want to play they can. Why should we play in October?

We've not signed any agreement to play in future editions and we've made our position very clear to (world governing body) the ICC many times.

The idea of a BCCI channel is still alive and we are also planning an inter-city cricket league in a day-night format.

This has been possible due to a systematic and transparent bidding process initiated by the BCCI.

BCCI will deal only with one party, which is appropriate, for this way we will be able to retain transparency while providing a level playing field for all prospective bidders.
