If he doesn't finish that race, we wouldn't have been second as a team. He barely finished it. He showed a lot of heart.

The guys were excited about it.

I wasn't sure how much he'd have left in his tank. We found out he had just enough.

They were much strong in the sprinters than we thought they'd be.

I still think we are going to win the Mountain West Conference tournament. I think it's anyone's race up there. And on a neutral floor, I think we can beat anyone.

It was a very rewarding race and gratifying. I could get up to third or fourth but couldn't make those passes to get the rest of the way. Once we did get up front, the car was flying. To be able to drive from 15th all the way to third or fourth, I knew we had a good one. Once we got out front, we were awesome. I knew we were in great shape.
