If a community decides that they want that farmland in perpetuity . . . there'd better a strong desire on the part of the community to subsidize that farming operation. Somebody's going to have to pay fair-market value for that property.

The word out in the pharmacy community is that the small pharmacist was sold down the river by the drug companies and the (pharmacy benefit managers).

This is the contradictory desire in our utopia'. We want to live in a small community with which we can identify and yet we want all the facilities of the city of millions of people. We want to have very intense urban experiences and yet we want the open space right next to us.
