I'm particularly fortunate to be in a position where I can bring my child to work and be able to get good child care. Not a lot of women have that.

There are many women with children under five who want to work and who lack affordable, high-quality child care.

I am anxious to fix welfare. There has to be more training and child care.

It is, I think, harder for women. I haven't quite figured it out, and all of my women friends haven't figured it out -how the hell do you do this? How do you work and have families?

If it's your child, it's different. You don't care about those things. It's so minor. You become a parent and nothing else really matters.

Along with a livable wage, many parents are desperate for quality affordable child care.
