I write lustily and humorously. It isn't calculated; it's the way I think. I've invented a writing style that expresses who I am.

I write to try to find out who I am. One of my main themes is manliness. I think I'm trying to figure out what manliness really is.

If I think of a reader while I am writing, the only reader who really matters for me is my wife. It's most important to me that she likes what I write.

I didn't go into 'Rabbit Hole' wanting to write about class. I think because of who I am it somehow found its way into it.
