I write and do all my arrangements on my Mac. And um, I use Logic Pro, which is a great software program.

I don't use a pen. I write with a goose quill dipped in venom.

I've just had a wonderful time doing Chinese music, and it's been so rewarding for me. I feel like there's so much potential in mandarin music, and there's so much, you know, ground left to be broken.

Sometimes I write what I can't paint, and I paint what I can't write. I use a different part of the brain.

When I read it, I don't wince, which is all I ever ask for a book I write.
