I would say that the matter is not entirely behind us. We have got to draw conclusions from this.

The ministers have today identified 26 measures and will recommend to the European Council [on 23-24 March] nine key actions for an energy plan.

There's a lot of agreement about speaking with one voice in the energy sector.

Russian natural gas will remain the backbone of European gas supplies. But we should strive for gas pipeline diversification and a search for alternative energy sources.

Certainly, we will have to learn the lesson of what has happened in the last few days.

Dependency on Russia should be reduced. The diversification of energy supplies is a common project for the whole of Europe.
