I would be surprised if it passed because, even among the conservative board members, there are a couple of teachers. I would think that they would see the value in knowing about education.

Even if it's hard to find teachers you don't lessen the requirements just because it's hard to find them.

So I just think they need to learn correctly -- the information about their bodies, how to keep their bodies safe -- but that doesn't mean they're being told this is what they ought to go do.

I don't think so. I was already pretty much swayed that students need all the information because they're going to be seeking information and I think they need to hear terms medically presented in class.

I doubt this changes the dynamics but if it does, we'll probably never know it.

I'm pleased that those that are signing on will not only be making a promise, but will be putting their actions behind their words.
