I will always remember the day I got old. It was the day my daughter died.

As a father, you can't believe that your kid cannot come home tonight, but this happened to me. This happens all throughout the state of Florida ... It's a real, real unfortunate situation.

It's common sense and I think maybe it's time.

That extra year, the kids need it. Their brain hasn't matured. Sometimes I relate this to trying to pour a gallon bottle of milk into a pint and it just overflows -- they can't take in all that information.

We have a public safety crisis here in Florida. Fatal crashes are up 10 percent this year.
