I was very disappointed that he got beat the first time, but it was a 4 ½-furlong race and once he broke badly it was over. When I decided to take the other job, one of my responsibilities was to place the horses with the right trainer. Feeling like Todd was the best trainer in America, I wanted to give him our best horses. That's why [Bluegrass Cat] went where he did. We felt like he was our best horse.
