You play against Boston, the defending world champion. New York is the 26-time world champions. [The Angels], they just won the World Series two years ago. We should be kind of under the radar. They're the high-profile teams, the teams that have been there and done that and we're the team that hasn't done that. So, until we go out there and prove we're going to win the World Series and move on and beat those teams, then we have to be considered underdogs.

We have a target on our backs now. The way we looked at (defending national champion) LSU last year — we went out to prove to them we were good enough to beat them — now, game one against Georgia Tech, they're going to look at us with a target on our backs. Coaches will have their teams hyped to beat us. We have to work harder than they do to be prepared.

There is one thing that you'll never take from Eddie Guerrero. Eddie will always be a champion.

I'm just excited to be the defending champion. I'm going to be nervous knowing that Tommy Bolt and Lee Trevino are going to be at the Champions Dinner. I'll have to work on something to liven up the party.
