I was pleased with our hitting today. I felt like that, with that amount of hits from us, and if our defense was where it should have been, we should have won both games.

Brain dead. The brain and the body weren't working [together], and nothing was firing. I was very disappointed in our defense.

Sam was throwing fastballs up in the zone, so they were hitting fastballs all over the place.

Our D-I-V-O-R-C-E becomes final today. Me and Little Joe will be going away. I love you both and this will be pure H-E double L for me. Oh, I wish that we could stop this D-I-V-O-R-C-E.

I haven't been prouder of a group than this one. Each of them took on a huge burden today to come out and win this, and they did their parts and would have done more if I would have asked them.

Today was definitely fast. In the beginning guys were having to kill themselves just to get 15 seconds.
