I was influenced by surrealist poetry and painting as were thousands of other people, and it seems to me to have become a part of the way I write, but it's not.

One of the reasons I write is to be in other people's skin.

I write novels and other things.

If I weren't the way I am, I shouldn't write my symphonies.

It's way easier to write for other people. Yourself isn't in it. When you write for yourself, you overthink, and you become paranoid. When you write for others, it isn't about you.

I write poetry on my iPhone. I've got about 100 poems on there.
