I was disappointed that the chamber didn't recognize that members do vote their consciences.

I don't think most members have figured out how they are going to vote for it,

Alston is tough. I was disappointed we let them get out like that, but we fought back.

I would urge the members of this House to see through these amendments and recognize them for what they are, nothing more than an attempt by the opponents of campaign finance reform to kill this legislation.

Comforts corrode our consciences

I'm going to vote 'no' because I recognize the concerns of the neighborhood. I do have some residual concerns and at some point, those may be resolved.
