I was a wrestler. I played football, lacrosse. After high school, I got into jujitsu. I boxed my whole adult life.

There are a million rules for being a girl. There are a million things you have to do to get through each day. High school has things that can trip you up, ruin you, people say one thing and mean another, and you have to know all the rules, you have to know what you can and can't do.

In high school, though, if you call someone out on their shit you get bullied. It’s really a horrible time in life. Honestly, I don’t even know why there is an entire genre of books dedicated to it.

Extroverts never understand introverts, and it was like that in school days. I read recently that all of us can be defined in adult life by the way others perceived us in high school.

The same boys who got detention in elementary school for beating the crap out of people are now rewarded for it. They call it football.

I played cello in my high school orchestra.
