I was a teenager I felt like the world's worst nerd.

It's so ironic that I'll forever be associated with that time because I hated being a teenager, ... I felt under siege. It was an enormous gift to be given those insightful, powerful words. I felt I was taking a megaphone and roaring, 'It's awful.' It was very cathartic.

We learned that the impossible is possible, so we have to be prepared for the worst.

I definitely went through a period when I was a teenager when every girl was 'The One' and every break-up was the 'Worst Thing That Had Ever Happened.'
