I was a little over $2,000 behind coming in, and if I had a good showing in both events I thought I had a chance. This is the best finals I've ever had.

The incidents themselves were pretty major events.

You have a chance on every one in this herd. I need to get one more steer down. I just came here to have fun and win as much money as I can. I feel pretty good in both events.

I'm off until Denver (National Western Stock Show & Rodeo, Jan. 7-8, 12-22). This is great and should build some confidence going into next year.

It's tough to come here and win all three rounds in steer wrestling, so that was pretty neat. I have a real good horse, and when they are short scores it makes for fast times.

I want to be in there helping the team, so it's been frustrating. But if Edgar hadn't of scored, we were going to have words.
