I was a bit confused at first because I hadn't heard of it before. I really didn't know what it was. Once I found out what it was and what I was going to get to do if I win, I was really excited. I can't wait.

They were as confused as I was, but my parents were thrilled.

It's not a monetary scholarship. When we take the trip to Washington, D.C., we get to meet with several politicians, authors and scientists. Other than that, it's really just an award and something that looks really good.

Mallory will provide us with another weapon up top. Her speed, quickness and ability on the ball will make her a threat to opposing defenses. She is also a very hard worker and has a great knack for scoring goals.

Danielle is one of the top defenders in the Southeast, and we are thrilled to have her coming to Ole Miss. She has a winning mentality and always brings her best. She has a great work ethic and toughness about her that will help her to compete for a starting spot as a freshman.

They're a good team. They've got tradition behind them. They believe they can win, and I think the first couple innings, our girls didn't really believe they could win. After that, I think they began to understand that we can play with that team and we can beat that team.
