I want to thank Canada for embracing me and making me a Canadian citizen. I want to thank Pierre for all his skill in driving.

Canada is more competitive than Jamaica and my goal was to prove to the world that I could be good at something.

I'm hoping to that we can add Sweden, South Africa, China, Australia, Canada.

Drugs is not the way to go.

The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.
