I want to be the horse in the rotation that everybody can really rely on and is going to get that consistent starter.

We don't have a two-back rotation or anything like that. There's a starter and there's a guy who's backing him up who we would like to get plays. It will continue like this. We're going to go with our starter and we're going to try to get our backups in place.

I want to be the guy that can go out there and go at least seven, eight innings every time out.

We are very pleased to add a dependable starter such as Brian Lawrence to our rotation. No only does he have a reputation of going deep into games, but he has averaged 34 starts the last four seasons.
