I want the library to broaden its perspective. We don't need in this community any more flight into the suburbs.

I didn't expect to do all three at once, but it's fabulous.

We will have a peace garden in the back, similar to what happens at the Dexter Avenue Church. It will be place where they can go and recharge their souls.

We're trying to tell the history of Wisconsin one community at a time. Each community has its own perspective and its own place in the overall statewide history. Our audience is a statewide audience. We're trying to make some of those connections of how Janesville fits in with the bigger picture.

It is about getting involved in the betterment of us all. This community will stop growing if we don't broaden our net.

From an economic development perspective, it's a proud day when you can raise the Forest City flag in your community. When they come in and make a commitment to your community, you know it's going to get done.
