I usually try not to hit it over the fence. The first pitch, I look for it to be perfect and I just drive it.

I just wasn't really into pitching. I wanted to focus more on hitting. I decided hitting and playing shortstop were more important to me.

We had been having trouble playing as a team and getting everybody to play good on the same night. We finally pulled it together at the end of the game. Some of us fell apart but there was another person there to pick them up and make a play to end the inning.

We can shake off a pitch, but we usually don't. If we are not confident in the pitches being called we just talk to the coaches about it in the dugout after the inning is over.
