I took it a little easy hoping I would get back to my pace but the gap kept on widening,

The gap between the rich and poor is widening fast.

You know me, I just run according to how my body feels.

I found I could also be good in cross country. I don't think my running style has anything to do with it. If you have speed and your body feels good, you can do any distance.

We expected to do better here. But everyone was surprised by the weather. We haven't seen rain in Kenya in two months.

I knew there was one point I was more than a minute behind. But I didn't worry because according to how my body was feeling, I had to take my time and see whether my body could pick up [the pace].
